February 19, 2025 - At Sea

Dear friends and family,

Today was the first of four consecutive sea days as we continue our journey west. I booked a spa experience of reflexology, leg and foot massage. Later had a mini-facial provided by the spa.

The evening’s entertainment was a burlesque show “Spectacular” in the Princess Theater, my first time at witnessing such an event. I probably won’t go to a similar event again.

In the afternoon, I attended a lecture about the Indian Ocean’s fascinating marine ecosystems, followed by a trivia game with some friendly competition. Dinner tonight will feature dishes inspired by Australian cuisine, and I’m looking forward to more lively conversations with my tablemates.
