March 2, 2025 - At Sea

Dear friends and family,

Our final sea day before reaching Mauritius was a wonderful mix of relaxation and anticipation. I started the day by meeting up with Steve S to give him $$ for tomorrow’s tour. Lunch was with the Singles and Solo group.

Afterwards I met Rick and Teresa to talk about upcoming tours in Cape Town, South Africa. I had dinner with Carla and other young friends. They went on to watch “Wicked,” at the outdoor theater called Movie Under the Stars. They even pass out buffalo red plaid blankets. I started watching the movie in my stateroom but couldn’t stay awake for the whole movie. Good that I had recently read the book.

Tomorrow, we’ll arrive in Mauritius, and I can’t wait to explore this stunning island.
