February 15, 2025 - At Sea

Dear friends and family,

Another relaxing sea day allowed me to recharge and prepare for the excitement of Sydney tomorrow. The lectures today focused on Australia’s rich history and culture, giving me plenty to think about as we near this iconic destination.

In the afternoon, enjoyed tea time with friends. Tonight’s entertainment features a Broadway-style musical, and I can’t wait to see the talent on display. The anticipation for Sydney is building, and I’m ready for the adventures ahead.

Last night and all day today we experienced “the motion of the ocean” as we crossed the Tasman Sea from New Zealand to Sydney, complete with very high swells and very low troughs.

This evening was the Farewell Tour for our favorite band, Mockingbird. They are already very missed as they play all the old tunes and some new ones. Overall, their music is very danceable.
