January 27, 2025 - Kauai, Hawaii

Dear friends and family,

Kauai, the "Garden Island," is a feast for the senses. Today’s adventure took me by taxi past King Kong and Sleeping Giant.

We then went by boat to the Fern Grotto, a serene spot along the Wailua River. The lush greenery and gentle sounds of water made it feel like stepping into a fairytale. Lunch was a treat of nachos and Mai Tais at Duke’s.

We had so much fun playing in the water and comparing our pale legs! This island’s natural beauty and rich history make it a true gem.
