Dear friends and family,

Aloha from Honolulu! I woke to a full spectrum rainbow - wow! I didn’t make it to Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial but reflected on the sacrifices made during World War II.

The tropical breeze and warm sunshine were a perfect backdrop for a restful day and I was delighted to receive a beautiful orchid from my new friend Victoria.

Tonight’s folkloric entertainment was a hula school who performed traditional dances.
