February 10, 2025 - Picton, New Zealand

Dear friends and family,

Picton greeted us with its stunning Queen Charlotte Sound, and I immediately fell in love with this picturesque town. Below is the ship in the harbor.

Today’s excursion took me to two vineyards in the Marlborough wine region, where I enjoyed a tasting of the area’s renowned Sauvignon Blanc. The rolling vineyards and dramatic landscapes were a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. We also visited a chocolate factory- yum!

My friends from the ship wore white today but I’m a navy girl. Always.

This region’s blend of natural beauty and rich flavors makes it a highlight of the trip so far.
